National Roadmaps, Action Plans, and Pathways to 2030
The paper provides a comprehensive analysis of national action plans and road maps for the establishment and management of the Emerald Network in the Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
Developed under the EU4Environment Programme, the study supports regional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strategic planning to strengthen biodiversity conservation efforts. Covering the status of the Emerald Network as of early 2025 and projecting toward 2030, the paper evaluates progress, identifies key challenges, and outlines priority actions for effective implementation. The analysis draws on national consultations, official roadmaps, stakeholder interviews, and EU-supported data sources, offering insights into advancing the Emerald Network across the region.
