Compliance assurance

Description

Compliance assurance refers to the system of measures employed by countries to ensure that environmental regulations are being complied with, and includes promotion, monitoring and enforcement. EU4Environment helps strengthen compliance assurance systems, instruments and tools. The project also supports reform of high impact enforcement and compliance promotion instruments, including environmental liability; and ensure networking and capacity building activities.
