An awareness-raising event is organized as part of the World Bank-led activities under EU4Environment Program sub-component 4.1: Support to protect biodiversity and natural ecosystems (Emerald network). Activities under this sub-component aim to advance the establishment of the Emerald Network and management of the Emerald Sites in the Eastern Partner countries. In Moldova, the activities focus on developing national capacities for ensuring the long-term survival of species and habitats listed in the Bern Convention Resolutions through an improved national legal framework and effective communication in line with European standards and best international practices. This includes training sessions and awareness-raising events involving stakeholders responsible for the Emerald site management in the Republic of Moldova.
