Under the EU4Environment Action, UNIDO and the European Commission Directorates General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) co-organized an accelerator session as a part of the upcoming World Circular Economy Forum. The session aimed to explore the forward-thinking strategies for circular reconstruction in Ukraine.
The meeting took place in Federation of Belgian Enterprises building (FEB/VBO), Brussels, on 17 April 2024.
The session aimed to:
- Demonstrate practical applications of circular economy strategies in Ukraine.
- Initiate discussions with experts regarding the sustainable reconstruction requirements.
- Explore how integrating circular economy principles can mitigate construction waste, stimulate economic growth, and foster new opportunities in Ukraine.
